Colnago's production process follows intensive use of prototypes. Before manufacturing the final version, the various specifications and variations were analyzed at Colnago through sampling and testing. The first visual and dimensional analysis is carried out thanks to virtual prototyping software, through which Colnago analyzes interferences and assesses the feasibility of the manufacturing process. From there, the rapid creation of a prototype is carried out to visually analyze it and verify it dimensionally for the second time, through the use of 3D printing machines and the making of samples in resins and plastic powders. Once validated, other sample accounts are created with different specifications for road and laboratory tests.
